Delhi nursery admission alumni points 2027-28
Parent-alumni points are common enough to matter, but schools differ on the points awarded and on what counts as alumni status. SaplingSky's verified historical dataset keeps the rule school-specific.
What the historical points distribution shows
The exact normalised Parent Alumni criterion appeared at 984 schools in SaplingSky's verified 2026-27 dataset. Ten points was by far the most common historical value, but schools also used 5, 15, 20, 25 and other values. Some schools separately label mother-alumni and father-alumni rules, so the source wording matters.
What this means for 2027-28
For 2027-28, parents should verify the school's definition before relying on alumni points. A school may specify minimum years studied, a particular graduating class, the relevant campus, or separate evidence for each parent.
SaplingSky does not merge separately published mother-alumni and father-alumni rules into a generic Parent Alumni value when the source treats them differently.
Calculate school by school, not from a generic formula
The same criterion can carry very different points at different schools. Select the actual school in SaplingSky before calculating your historical score, then check the school's current official 2027-28 notice when it becomes available.
Dataset: active, current, verified 2026-27 point-criteria rows in SaplingSky; 984 schools used the exact normalised 'Parent Alumni' label. Separate Mother Alumni and Father Alumni labels also appear in a smaller number of schools. Historical prevalence is planning evidence, not a promise that the same criterion or points will apply in 2027-28. See the full SaplingSky criteria dataset analysis.
