School-admission planning built around evidence, not rankings
SaplingSky helps Delhi parents research schools and prepare for admissions using school-specific information: published admission criteria, distance logic, seats and fees where verified, official-source links, and tools that explain how those rules may apply to a family.
What SaplingSky is trying to solve
Delhi school admissions generate a large amount of fragmented information across Directorate of Education pages, school notices, PDFs and school websites. Parents often have to repeat the same work for every school: check the correct campus, understand distance bands, compare point criteria, collect documents, track dates and distinguish an old admission cycle from the current one.
SaplingSky brings that work into one planning experience. The live public dataset is currently focused on Delhi; the site does not claim broader NCR coverage until that data is actually available.
How we earn trust
Official sources first
We prefer Delhi DoE and other competent authority sources, followed by official school notices and school websites. School profiles expose source links where available.
School-specific rules
SaplingSky does not apply one generic nursery points table to every school. Criteria, distance bands and supporting evidence are attached to the relevant school and admission cycle.
Current and historical stay separate
Historical criteria can help parents plan, but they are labelled by year and do not become a current-cycle rule unless the new-cycle source has been verified.
What SaplingSky does not do
The public school directory is not a paid ranking. A points calculation is not an admission prediction, and historical data is not presented as a guarantee of a future rule, cut-off, draw-of-lots result or selection. Where reliable evidence is missing, the site should make that limitation visible rather than manufacture a number.
Read the verification methodology
Our methodology explains the source hierarchy, how admission cycles are labelled, how corrections are handled, and what “verified” means on SaplingSky.
