Who operates the service
SaplingSky is currently in controlled prelaunch validation. The final legal operator will be identified here before public launch. SaplingSky is not a school, the Delhi Directorate of Education, or an admissions authority.
Information we use
Depending on the features you use, we may process your verified mobile number, parent or guardian profile, child name and date of birth, target admission year and class, home address and derived location, distance preference, family/admission criteria answers, saved or tracked schools, application status, document-readiness choices, communication preferences and consent records. We also keep limited security and product-usage records needed to operate and improve the service.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate your account, calculate relevant school matches and road distance, apply published admission criteria, maintain your admission plan and action centre, show verified updates, respect communication preferences, protect the service from misuse, and understand whether core product journeys are working. Product analytics are first-party and record an authenticated parent identifier, allow-listed event name and page path; the navigation tracker does not send query strings, profile fields or child details.
Sources and service providers
School and admission information may come from official school websites, Delhi DoE material and other sources identified on SaplingSky. We use infrastructure and communications providers to run the service, including hosting/database/authentication, mapping and SMS services. Those providers process information only as needed for the relevant service. Links to school or government websites take you to third-party services governed by their own privacy terms.
Children's information
SaplingSky is intended for parents or guardians planning a child's school admission. By providing child information, you confirm that you are authorised to use it for that purpose. The service is not designed for children to create accounts independently.
Accuracy, retention and choices
You can update core profile and admissions-planning information in the product. We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, and meet applicable legal or operational requirements. Communication consent can be withdrawn through the controls provided for that purpose. We do not treat historical admission information as a guarantee of a future outcome.
