What is already official for Delhi
Delhi DoE's foundational-stage age framework is already in force from the 2026-27 session onward. It sets Nursery/Balvatika 1 at 3+ up to 4 years, Lower KG/Balvatika 2 at 4+ up to 5, Upper KG/Balvatika 3 at 5+ up to 6, and Class 1 at 6+ up to 7 as on 31 March, with up to one month of age relaxation at the Head of School level. This is a structural rule; it is not the same thing as the still-to-be-verified 2027-28 Delhi application calendar.
