Delhi nursery admission forms 2027-28: opening date, last date and deadlines
The most important fact right now is simple: Delhi's 2027-28 open-seat nursery admission schedule has not yet been officially published. This page separates confirmed information from planning evidence so parents do not mistake last year's dates for the new cycle.

No confirmed Delhi-wide form opening date or last date yet
SaplingSky will not publish a 2027-28 date until it is verified from the Delhi Directorate of Education or the relevant school's official source. Individual school notices can appear before the city-wide schedule and should be labelled school-specific.
Previous cycle: useful for planning, not prediction
The DoE issued the 2026-27 open-seat schedule on 22 November 2025. Forms opened on 4 December 2025 and the last date was 27 December 2025. The same circular then set dates for applicant details, points, selection lists and closure. These dates help parents understand the sequence, but they are not the 2027-28 schedule.

What parents should do before forms open
Check age eligibility
Confirm the child's correct entry class first, including the 31 March 2027 age boundary.
Prepare documents
Keep birth, residence, photographs and criterion-specific evidence ready, but follow the current school notice for the final list.
Shortlist before the rush
Use distance, historical points evidence, fees and school fit to narrow the list before applications open.

How SaplingSky will update this page
Once the 2027-28 DoE schedule is published, the current-status box and timeline will be replaced with the verified dates. School-specific openings will continue to be tracked separately so a single school's early notice is not confused with the Delhi-wide application window.
