Delhi nursery admission sibling points 2027-28
Sibling is one of the most common historical admission criteria in Delhi, but the value is not standard across schools. SaplingSky's verified 2026-27 dataset shows why parents should calculate the rule school by school.
What the historical points distribution shows
Sibling appeared at 1,513 schools, but the points varied substantially. The two most common historical values were 20 points and 10 points; other schools used 15, 25, 30 and still different values. A parent's sibling advantage therefore depends on the individual school's published rule, not on one Delhi-wide score.
What this means for 2027-28
For 2027-28, do not assume that a sibling currently studying at the school automatically earns last year's points. The new school notice controls the definition, eligible campus/class and evidence required.
Where the school distinguishes between branches or junior campuses, the sibling definition can be especially important. SaplingSky will preserve the school's source wording rather than generalising it.
